Pretty easy job overall. I used the cermaic pads from autozone and new brake rotors. Cost about $150.

:supercool:When pushing the caliper piston in, open the bleed screw so the dirty fluid isnt pushed back into the system, at least.

The synthetic fluid is AMAZING !!!! Well worth the time to swap it over.

ALSO on the ST 9 and I am finding most cars i work on) Take the caliper pins apart, Clean and re lubricate !!!!!!! They seize and cause bad wear, crappy pedal, and all sorts of other issues.

I have been even checking the pins on cars after 1/2 life to be sure.

Todd Z hit the nail on the head.

Don't just swap the pads without a complete inspection of your brakes and hardware, including all pins, clips, springs, etc. That is essential to ensuring that your brake job will last. It is false economy to think you can take short cuts on a brake job and save money !
