Dash Cluster Issue

Hi. It's been a while. I use to be one of the biggest posters on here back in the day. I need help now. My 2005 XLT has the intermittent gauge cluster short that has become permanent now! How do I fix it? Do I need the keys reprogrammed when I get a new or aftermarket cluster?

Many have them fix, this way un plug and plug back in.

Hey I just had these guys repair my cluster and added the led upgrade, excellent service and turn around . Now I keep blowing the number 5 fuse. Any thoughts.
