Got P0303 on my dad's truck. It looks like plug 3 is bad. He took it to a local guy to have them changed. The guy said that he got 2 different sets of plugs, one from Napa and one from Ford. They are 1/4" longer than the plugs in the ST. The plugs in there are stock. The guy wouldn't replace them because he didn't want the piston to hit them so he still has a misfire. The local repair guy called Ford and they didn't even have the original stock number of the plugs that are in it in their parts computer. Ford said it has the wrong plugs in it and doesn't know why. Dad's PO'd and I told him these are probably just the stock plugs that Ford doesn't have a cross reference for. Anyway, I don't have any numbers, either what's in the ST or what Ford recommended for a replacement.

Can someone confirm the length is longer?

Thanks,

Pat
