A couple of weeks ago, my 08 'Trac got rear-ended, and I took it to the Ford dealer to get repaired (the other guy's insurance company was paying, so I figured it would be the best choice). Well, today I got it back, and it looks like they just randomly stuck the backup sensors into whatever hole happened to be next without regard to which of the four mounting brackets (each of which points the sensor in a different direction). Two of them weren't even seated flush against the bumper's surface.

It escalated into a bit of an argument. He said it didn't matter. I asked to see the datasheet they referred to for installation instructions. He said they didn't have it. I told them to *get* a copy from Ford (they're the official Ford backup sensors). He refused. Eventually, against my better judgment due to time pressure, I gave up, grudgingly signed the papers accepting their work, and left... but now I need to either get a copy of the datasheet(s) for parts

3F2Z-15K859-BA (the sensors) and YL1z-15A862-[AA|BA|CA|DA], or find out for myself what directions they're supposed to be pointing so I can go back tomorrow and make them finish the job properly.

If you assume that "12 o'clock" is the position where the sensor's flat plane is angled upward when the rim is flush against the bumper, "3 o'clock" is the position where the sensor's flat plane is angled to the right (my right, as I face the rear bumper and license plate), "6 o'clock" is the position where its flat plane is angled downward, and "9 o'clock" is the position where its flat plane is angled towards the left, in which direction should each of the four sensors be angled starting with the leftmost sensor and ending with the rightmost sensor?

Can some one post a pic of theirs installed to help ???
