I have a 2010 Adrenalin and lately I've been getting a message that says to clear object by passenger seat even though nothing is on or under the seat. Has anyone else run into this?

my 2010 Adren has the airbag light on. Apparently the sensor in the seat is whacking out.

I have not looked into it yet.

Went to fordparts.com and from seat schematic it looks like p/n 14B422, Occupant Detection Sensor may be your issue. Disabling this sensor ain't the answer you're looking for.

Belt Minder? (Pages 142-146)

WARNING: While the design allows you to deactivate your Belt-Minder, this system is designed to improve your chances of being safely belted

and surviving an accident. We recommend you leave the Belt-Minder system activated for yourself and others who may use the vehicle.

I had similar issue with the passenger seat sensor. Issue ended up being the battery. It was putting out 11.5 volts. Replaced the battery issue fixed.
