I am really hoping someone can help with this! I have a P0316, P0300 code I can't get rid of. It's an 03 with a few mods, a Zabteck TB and cold air kit and 73 mm MAF, Screamin' demon coil and Live wires were all done in April. I so far have tried changing the crank sensor and cam position sensor with motorcraft pieces, and the light is still on! Any advice here would be greatly appreciated.

Check that all your wires are connected...... ???

Put your Stock coil back in......????

And in case you didn't know, both codes pertain to a miss-fire issue.

So as Todd points out, check your wires themselves, their connections and things relative to a miss-fire...

Todd,

I had already thought about trying that, just was hoping for a simple fix!

Coastiejoe,

I know that it's a misfire issue, and there was probably about 4 to 5 months between the install and the CEL coming on, so I really can't see how it could be a wire issue, unless the coil is bad.

It would lead me to believe that it is not one of the mods due to the time difference. It would lead me to think that a wire has come loose or became defective by melting against a manifold for example...
