change tire size for speedometer

I recently had my 22"s put on and I figured I needed to change the tire size in the ecu, for the speedometer. doesnt the x-cal2 let you change this? and also what do I need to input in it? if this helps my tires size is 265/35/22. thanks

You need the revs per mile of the tire....



Then flash the truck with the xcal2.... IT will ask you to change optional parameters, Select yes, then select the revs per mile,save the info and it will re flash the truck and your good to go..



You can get the revs per mile from the manufacturers web site of the tire....

The dealer can go into "programable parameters" and recalibrate.

Please remember your dealer may do this, But MOST dealers will not touch it for their customers.....

Many members have had issues getting it done at the dealer and went elsewhere
