i have somethings to pick yall brains



i keep getting a po1507 i changed my air idle air control valve and still get the code after clearing the computer.



i cleaned thottle body, maf did the sea foam and still when the truck is cold it runs ruff and kills

P1507 - Idle Air Control (IAC) Underspeed Error This DTC is set when the PCM detects engine idle speed that is less than the desired rpm.



Possible issues:

IAC circuit open

IAC circuit short to PWR

VPWR to IAC solenoid open

Air inlet is plugged

Damaged IAC solenoid

Damaged PCM



The IAC solenoid resistance is from 6 to 13 ohms / Disconnect IAC valve and look for no change in engine rpm as an indication of a stuck or damaged valve

Could be a small vacuum leak developing too and the truck can hold idle....



The 01 job 1 was known for bad intake gaskets.

i changed the gaskets in 06 through the dealer think they can go bad again?

I just disconnected it with the engine running and no change so im guessing time for new iac
