Hello everyone,

I have an '07 4.6 and wanted to dyno my truck before I start to add any performance parts.

My buddys dyno is the kind where you take off your rear wheels and the dyno bolts right to the axles.

My only concern is that the traction control will kick the truck into 4wd. I checked out the manual and its not that clear..

It says it can be disabled on a temporary basis, sounds like its not turned off 100%.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your time

Can you pull the fuse on the 4 wheel drive system? There has to be a way to disable it for your dyno run. I'm sure someone will chime in with some good info.

Worried about losing power to the 4 wheel drive system, or about the truck trying to take off through the wall? If you're just worried about truck movement, jack up the front end, too.

you can not run the truck on a conventional 2 wheel dyno.

you need a 4 wheel dyno

You can disable the 4wd and traction control manually by disconnecting wiring and plugs, but that is not recomended...
