Broken Console latch

The console latch on my 2007 ST has stopped working. Will not hold down the center console cover down. I have found out that there clasp itself is made our of hard plastic and is prone to break. I think I already know the answer but does anyone know if a new latch can be purchased separate for an entire new cover. A creative fix would be great. Thanks,Jay:supercool:

I just did this as per the link.

Ordered the springs recommended too. Easy quick ten minute fix for a problem that has been around more than one year.

Just did the fix and was done in a jiffy!!!Open and closes just like new!!!!
