Bent Tire Rod End

I was backing out of a parking garage tonight and my right front tire caught a cement pole and bent the tire rod. I limped home. Is a tire rod easy to change? Any thoughts as to how to do it or is it better left to a professional?

IS it the inner or outer and are you sure you did not bend a control arm or any thing else ??

Thanks for the reply. I'm no expert, but its the part that has the threads on it that connects to the top of what I think is the ball joint (the rubber sealed part)
