Bed Extender Bolts

I ordered my bed extender bolts today only to find out that there are 2 different part numbers. 1 for 01 to 05 and the other is for 06 and up. my truck is an o1 and my bed extender is for a gen 2. is there a difference in the extender bolts the mount to the bed from gen 1 to gen 2

do you have part number for the bolts have 08 f-150

Generation 2 as in 07 and newer, (06 does not exist, they did'tt;t make the Trac that year).



If so, the extender is different and will not fit if I recall properly.

If your ST is an 01, than the 2nd gen bed extender wont work for it.

Or am I misunderstanding you.

The difference is in the shape of the tubing, and how it conforms to wheel wells in the bed.
