The Flintstones and Rubbles were playing poker one Thursday night. Fred was his typical annoying self; boasting, and ribbing Barney for being a horrible poker player. At one point, Barney dropped a card and when he ducked under the table to retrieve it, he noticed Wilma wasn't wearing any underwear. He bumped his head hard on the table on the way back up. Later, when in the kitchen to grab another beer, Wilma came in and asked if he saw anything he liked? He said that he did, and Wilma told him he could have it for $500. After considering the financial and moral ramifications of sleeping with his best friend's wife, he decided he would leave work early the next afternoon and pay Wilma a visit. He asked Wilma to pick up a six-pack in case he needed to calm his nerves when he arrived.

Barney showed up early Friday afternoon. He gave Wilma the cash, and said he didn't need any of the six-pack; he was ready. Wilma stuffed the cash under the cookie jar and returned the beer to the fridge.

When Fred got home Friday evening, he burst into the kitchen in his typical loud demeanor, "Wilma!!! Did Barney come here this afternoon?!?" Figuring one of the neighbors must have seen Barney arriving or leaving, she said, "Why, yes Dear, he stopped by for a few minutes." "Then where's that 500 bucks?" Fred belted. Not knowing how Fred found out, but realizing she was busted, Wilma reached under the cookie jar and handed Fred the cash. "Good," Fred said, "He left the quarry early today, and said if I'd loan him $500, he'd stop by this afternoon and pay me back plus a six-pack of beer!"

Now that makes Barney a great poker player!:cheeky:
