I have a 2001 job 2 sport trac with 105000 miles on it and I am noticing a slight vibration in the front end. I suspect the ball joints are starting to wear.

Does anyone have a list of the parts required to replace the ball joints on the 2001 job 2 sport trac? I have the tools, but I am looking for a list of the parts needed. The dealer quoted $750, but I think this is a little high.

Thanks

Rick

Go to the parts store. Tell them you need a balljoint(s). They give you the balljoint(s). You pay for it/them.

You then install it/them.

It isn't hard to install. If you do not have the ability to do it yourself, try some independant mechanics.

Also have the front end checked out by a professional before you just start replacing parts...

The next post will be that the truck cost $1500.00 to repair and you hate it, Mean while it was a bad hub bearing or a bad tire...
