Maybe a dumb question, but to replace my upper and lower ball joints, do I need to replace the control arms as well, or can I just by the parts seperate and put it on them..

The uppers are part of the control arm....
SOME uppers have a 2 piece design on the passenger side
THE LOWERS you can just replace the ball joint OR the whole arm...

Yea the passenger side is what I need to replace....
I see that they sell the upper ball joints seperatly

Replace the upper ball joints with MOOG Problem Solver Ball joints which are greaseable. Once you replace with MOOG you do not need to replace the whole control arm on the drivers side. I do recommend replacing both uppers at the same time.

OK, don't laugh, but how do you know when your ball joints go bad? :huh:
I knew when my right front tire wore out really quickly, but I would take it in to someone you trust to have them inspected before that happens.
