Anyone try Goodyear FORTERA Triple Tred?

I need tires and these tires have a good write-up at Tire Rack. Opinions?

I live in Alexandria, VA and mostily highway driving.

I think that the GoodYear name scares a lot of us away because of the crappy goodyears that the trac came with. We could not wait to get rid of them when we could afford to replace them.

The Goodyear Fortera came stock on my 07 and I have been happy so far. I have 14000 miles on them and they seem to ride and wear nicely. I live in Louisiana where it rains a lot and the tire has had no problems thus far.

I also like the way they look.

Just got a set of Triple Treds and put 2,600 miles on them last week on a trip to the Black Hills. The tires are very quiet and seem to have more steering response than the Cross Terrains they replaced. All driving done on dry roads so no experience yet with wet road characteristics. My trac also got 21 mpg for the entire trip and it's never done that well before. Only change was the tires.

mine also came with the Fortera's and I have been happy with the ride quality of them as well.
