Any one listen to Howard Stern?

I was listening tto the replay yesterday afternoon on my way home from work. Turns out he's in the market for a vehicle, a Ford pickup to be exact, that will carry 4 people comfortably. Maybe we should clue him in to the ST?! All they talked about yesterday on the air was 150s and 250s. Such a shame no one knows our trucks exist

I think it would be great if he was a member of this site. What has he done that is so bad that most of the other celebrities haven't done. Yes, he might offend people but does it equally to all races, groups, and even himself. It is for comedy and entertainment and I enjoy it. I guess so do the millions of other people who went out and bought Sirius for him.



I know most of you are kidding but really what is so terrible about him?

But you come off like one of those Southern "Clear Channel", boycotting zealots which is why I said what I said.



I can dislike an "entertainer", and I might not approve of the "taste" of his content and conduct, but that doesn't mean that I would change my behavior or let if affect me to the extent that you state that Stern affects you.



Or are you being OVERLY dramatic? In other words, would you really move, or kill him, etc?



I have no real problem with you saying you don't like the guy or his humor or that you even think he is a pervert (btw, what is "perverted?"...different discussion); but to say that it affects you on that level, well that just amazes me!



P.S. I would rather live next to a pervert that creates "perverted" entertainment content, legally, then someone who publically says he would "kill" same...but hey, I'm wierd like that.

Nope anytime I have had a short listen, he was too off base for me, so I just put aside as someone I dont need..

Yeah, he pushes past the edge of the envelope quite often, but he does have a very good sense of humor, is smart, witty, and quick. Unfortunately he panders to the masses, and the masses spend much of their time in the gutter. I stopped listening to him years ago...mostly once I started driving my kids to school. Then, that action alone allowed me to re-examine exactly what I thought was funny and entertaining about him, and I was left a little cold; mostly realizing he is very talented and could be so much more. So, I respect him for what he has done, but don't listen to him at this point.



I do think, however, he could make a VERY FINE addition to this site.

Stern is alright, but I wish he'd get back to his early roots. Philly has the Kidd Kris show. They still prank call "escort services." I'd take a good prank call over Howard describing whether some gal is "Playboy worthy" anyday.

I don't like him becuase he is talentless and boring. The reason he has to go to the extremes that he does is that he is genuinely talentless and unfunny, so the only option that he has is to go for shock value.
