Thats just as easy bill.... Do it on an empty tank...... Should take 2 hours start to clean up..

Nick,

If you use the right tools, Clean the connections first with air or cleaner, and push in before you pull the lines apart, It comes right off....

Bill,

In the past, especially with the smaller model trucks, we would unbolt and lean the bed at the lines and connections were in poor condition with older trucks. Much easier in the big picture. Don't have to lie on your back other then the bed bolts and they are pretty easy compared to the tank straps, fuel lines, ect ect..

If you're talking about removing the bed to access the pump it won't happen on the Trac:angry: like it does on the Ranger & F-Series.:angry:

They just HAD to put a non-removable crossmember right over the pump!

Rodger,

Yes he does,

That pic is showing the top of the tank with the bed removed from the truck, Showing that you can not access the pump for removal from the tank from under the bed..

ON the ST the Tank MUST be lowered..

I know what you mean Nick. Did it once and will never attempt it again. Lube shop down the street does it for $20, including filter. Well worth it.

Steve,

You do realize that the fuel pump in inside, yes inside, the fuel tank.
