My owner's manual specifies 75w-90 on one page and 75w-140 on the next, without any mention of limited-slip other than the additive. If you have limited-slip, I do, I run the 140 in the rear just to be safe. The front will take 75w-90.

FRONT 75/90

REAR if NON limited slip 75/90

REAR if LIMITED slip 75/140 AND A BOTTLE OF ADDITIVE !!!

If you read the manual, it is clear on what type of lube you need. If you look at the manual, it will have a column that says "footnote". If you read down to the number the footnote refers to, it will say if you have a regular axle or a Traction-Lok. Depending on what axle you have will tell you which fluid to use.

If you do not have an owners manual, Ford has them available to download for free.
