4 x 2 2003 lower ball joints

I have an '03 4 x 2. Whats the process to replace the original lower ball joints. Uppers look easy and straight forward. Lower's - not sure. I plan on getting Moog. How much do we have to remove? I see the "project" but it appears to be for a 4 x 4. Thanks.

4x4 is the same as a 4x2 except the brake removal procedure.

The uppers require replacing the whole upper arm as I understand it.

Yes, the lowers require taking the shock off at the bottom, Easy to navigate if you remove the tie rod end from the spindle and use a ball joint press or tool remove and replace...



they are not that hard to do, We did Paul's in about 2 hours and the tool was a free rental from advance auto..
