PD is working on coils for the 4.6 3V Mustang and Sport trac.....

THESE are for the 4.6 2V motor.....

I only have 1 set at this price, they sent me these for a ST and they are wrong, these WILL NOT work properly on a ST...

PD says these are over 40K volts.....

I am asking $300.00 shipped.

They are normally $339.00 Plus shipping....

Here is PD Info in them.

“In a SERIES of 0-60 mph tests, we improved our ET an average of .84 seconds over a

Stock ignition system. On our best test run, we reduced our 0-60 mph an amazing 1.71

Seconds!”

We were able to achieve the above results because:

1) Due to the longer duration spark, you can open up your plug gaps to .065”

burning your fuel more completely.

2) Multiplying the coils’ performance times all 8 cylinders has a more

powerful effect compared to the older one coil ignition systems.

3) High quality thermal epoxy prevents internal vibration of the coil windings.

How can coils alone improve the 0-60 times by 1.71 secs? How bad was the 0-60 before, 25 seconds?

Have you driven a v8 st ???

Lead Sled.... :lol::lol:

I am also sure their testing was done on a 5.4 or 4.6 f Series truck or Mustang.,...

People know the real deal....

I remember the other posts....

Wait a minute Todd before you start slamming me, THESE COILS ARE NOT 3 VALVE COILS, they are NOT for tracs, They are for pre 05 engines Correct.

Dingo prove it with numbers.

Coils have been tested over and over on all the stang sites, nothing has come of them that is worth a hill of beans

Sorry to piss you off Todd, lets see some specs, your two yrs behind the 8 ball.

And my first Line says Pd will be selling them, So i will be selling them....

If I had a 4.6 mustang here I would gladly dyno everything, like i normally do.... If it makes HP I sell it....

Maybe I will check with the Stang shop here and use a shop car and their dyno for testing...

I would gladly use a ST for dyno, But they can not be dynoed without special dynos that are hard to come by around here...

So you had one by you ??

Todd, go to FN sweet, go to modular fords, go to the black mustang club.

search coils, tons of info.

All my dynos have been done with my stang, 4.6 3 valve, same engine

Yes the mustang is the same bottom end, but the intakes are WAY different...... The computer codes are different too.....Hence the computer tuning is too...

Not dissen Todd, am treading thin ice as one that is on life long probation.

BUT, show me the meat.

You proved your TB mod with Flow bench numbers, I bought one from you, is a great mod for sure and I got some ponys from it.

test the coils, let us know how it shakes out.

Sorry to have riled you Todd, but coils have been proven to be of little benifit.

Sort of like headers on gen 1s, granniteli (sp) mafs and TB spacers JMO as always.

wish you luck with your new product line.

Alright, Back to the topic at hand.....

Any one interested ????

Nocturnal, these probably are equivalent to what your running now.... Don't know the cost difference..
