4.0 Cooling fan and clutch from Explorer 4.0?

My cooling fan took a dump and was just going to grab a fan/clutch assembly from a local place for now (can't find my old one). But mine is an 01 4x4 ST, will a fan/clutch assembly from a circa 01 Explorer work?

I would think so. Provided the rotation is the same.

Go to a parts site. Plug in both vehicles. See if the part# comes up the same.
