Motor Trend "Car Of The Year" Contender out of eight vehicles.

Selection included a Porsche "Panamera".

Automobile Magazine 2010 "Design Of The Year" Winner.

Am I missing something? May be functional and inexpensive but ....

This same "Award" was given to the Honda Civic and Renalt Encore and Aliiance.

Ha Ha Ha..

Nothing to be proud of.

Tom

I believe Motor Trend's car of the year is purchased, especially since the Renalt was once a COTY...

The head of Motor Trend should get the Nobel Prize for something in 2010! Pretty soon, all comrades will drive Cubes!:smile0005::smile0010:

the "box" style vehicles are becoming very popular.

with scion introducing the XB a few years ago, others have followed.

the kia soul, the cube, in a larger version the ford transit connect.

functionality seems to be more important then looks.

btw, i happen to like the looks and know that i have a very dependable quality vehicle :smile0006:

Nissan Cube ........

yep, 07 ST said it!:smile0010::smile0010:

Read a recent report saying Scion was first in customer satisfaction.

Not sure, may have something to do with their "younger" market.

Know they're huge in Japan. Either way, an excellent testimonial.

steve,

the scion is definitely targeted for the "younger" market.

to date, i am still confused as to why toyota does not promote the XB to the fleet customer. they make great fleet vehicles for the small cargo/transport segment. i am converting my fleet of 50 toy matrix to new XB's. the drivers really like them and at 17.4K each and great residual, it is a winner.

but the regular consumer market is changing. more "older" people like myself are buying them. for the price, spacious room, and overall quality there will be more out there.

The Cube sure made the xB and the Element look a lot better!

A set of wheels/tires improve the looks of the Element and the xB greatly, as it does for most everything. I don't think that statement will apply to the Cube. It's just plain fugly!:smile0010:

chris,

WOW, love the colour and the rarity :smile0006:

gotta get a pic of the 2010 crimson rose in my driveway i am borrowing from work.

check your postal mail next week

bill,

sure does grow on you, then drive it. you will see

let me know when he gets it.

i have something for him from scion :smile0006:

Some of us here are old enough to remember the last boxy styling trend. Let's hope this UGLY thing has a shorter production life than the Ford Fairmont.

You all can say what you want. People call the ST ugly. My ST served it purpose, so does my xB. But, the xB is so much more fun to drive.
