'07 V6 Surging

Has anyone had this problem...



After the truck has sat for awgile, especially over night, the engine starts good, but at the first acceleration it seems to surge some and the n works good. I also had something strange happen with the cruise control set and going up a slight incline, the engine continually surged, the tach just kept going up, down slightly and was annoying.



I have to take it in for the first service in a couple weeks so will have it checked then.



Any ideas?

By chance was it shifting gears while going up hill? It's hard to hear the gear change.

Sounds like the throttle by wire system may be acting up...

I know what it should be doing while going uphill and this was definately not that. This was short bursts in succession.



Didn't somone on here say that Ford already had a program modification to the computer for the '07? Could that be connected to this?



Will ask dealer.

Mine does that surging thing almost every morning. The first time I thought it was stalling. Then I just got used to it, didn't realize it could be something wrong. :unsure:
