From past experiences, any recommendations on how long someone should wait befor buying an 07? Wait for job 2 or as far out as 08?

Regarding above post, I meant for Ford to work out the early production bugs.
Since the '07s are such an early release, it may be a looong wait for the '08s. In other words, the '07s are going to be built for longer than the suual one year run. But, I too would like to know if there is any good data on first vs second year reliability on vehicles.

well as far as the engines go, they are tried and true tested, The transmission v6 is the 4 door explorer trans, the 6 speed is new, the irs is the explorer irs, and the front end is regular explorer, I would expect less issues then with the release of the Frankensteins we are driving now...

I'd wait until the Job 2 anyways, then the power down back window is an option.
