The truck does need to be lifted slightly. Most people will tell you that it is a pretty involved job. The best I have heard was like 6 hours . In most cases people say a weekend. All I know is that if you need to do these and you want do a body lift. Do it at the same time.

If you are talking about the 2 lines coming out of the rear of the filter. Those didnt come with the retainer clips like in previous years. They are built into the connection.
