Yup took all of 2 minutes. While I was at it I replaced the entire infamous elbow assembly and pvc vavle. My truck idles alot smoother now!

From what I have been reading either it is the EGR or DPFE sensor. I tried the EGR test. I removed the rubber elbow and stuck a rubber hose over the egr and sucked. My truck was going to stall. I did this several times and had the same result. So now I am thinking it is my DPFE sensor...

Ok thanks. Summit was on back order, so was Jegs. I just called a speed shop by me and they will have them in by tuesday the latest. They are actually cheaper than both those companies, just by a few bucks though.

I am going to change my wires on 2002 sport trac. I will be using the Taylor wires. My part number from Summit is tay-72032(black). Is this corect. I have read some people ordering 72632(blue). Is the color the only differnce? What is the correct part number for a 2002 sport trac?

I looked for a part number but couldnt find one. I might have to really look deep in the seat for a part number. I will try crazy glue for now and see how it holds up. I I live in suffolk county. If your cousin can look into this that would be great. Thanks Rick
