Infamous Elbow sucked shut

I went to check that infamous elbow every talks about. No check engine light just curious. After I pryed it off and saw it was fine and went to put it back on the suction was so strong it is actually sucking the tube together.. Should I replace it anyway. Is it supposed to be a stronger elbow and over time mine just softened up. Will I start to get a rough idle since the air passage isnt totally free.

Ok thank you for that link. Yup my hose is super pliable also. I will call ford monday and order the part. Does anyone know the exact part#. I guess I will also change my pvc valve while I am at it.
