Could it be your ball joints? If this issue is occur while turning, I could imagine one or more of the ball joints are weak. Other than something being bent that shouldn’t be, based on the things you have replaced, ball joints are all I can come up with.
I know on my old Honda, the rpm’s are measured at the coil. So I suspect the new wires had something to do with it but I am no mechanic as my wife reminds me constantly.
Sorry, it’s a 2004 with 138,000 miles. I’ve had the wheel bearings replaced on the front at 96K and recently new shocks @ 130K. Seems like sway bars or control arm issue with the popping sound.
Just recently I am hearing and feeling a popping sound when I do over bumps and sometimes when I turn and accelerate. Can’t see anything obvious. Definitely sounds suspension related but hard to diagnose when I am driving it. Any ideas out there?

I also agree with Arturo and Rich...sounds exactly like my problem and Rich is right on...fixing it is easy and cheap...but like everything old under the chassis, corrosion and rust make easy jobs a pain in the %#*...be ready to wrestle and cut and cuss so before you get it loose...
