Mine will do that every once in awile. I notice you also live in SC. I think it has something to do with the heat. Mine will only do it on real hot days and if I just take the CD out and run the ac for a bit it works fine after that. Do you have the single disc player or the changer??

It looks good but IMO you should paint the fender flares to match the truck color.
