New oil leak - rear main or oil pan

120048 is the miles. Had the valve cover gasket replaced a while ago and is not leaking from that location. I originally had 4 oil leaks. PVC hose, valve cover, a seal (can't rememeber but is was in the front of the engine), now the pan what it looks like. The pan bolts are covered in oil.

New oil leak - rear main or oil pan

Checked it out and no. This has me stumped because the trans bolts that screw just above the oil pan are covered in motor oil.

New oil leak - rear main or oil pan

I have the pcv tube and valve cover replaced which stopped one oil leak but I have new drips on the ground in 2 spots both sides of the oil pan. The bolts on the back side were loose so I tighted them and it's still leak from that location. Now the question is I've been told the rear main could...

    PCV and Oil Pan Leak

Confirmed the hose was plugged/wrapped. Not sure why but replaced the hose which wrapped around the back and passenger side of the engine. PVC is tight but does wiggle slightly in the valve cover. Is this normal? I did have a dealer put dye in the system to trace down a possible cause to...

    PCV and Oil Pan Leak

I can confirm the seal on the PCV is spraying oil everywhere. Running down all over the valve cover so that is a confirmed issue. Now what I can't tell is if the locking tabs are broken. When I had a deal service the PCV at the dealer, it wasn't leaking but I'm hoping that is the issue and...

    PCV and Oil Pan Leak

Well the PCV valve is very loose. Wiggling freely, but hoses are connected. I'm not sure if the main seal on the rear of the engine is leaking.

    PCV and Oil Pan Leak

Ill pick some up at the dealer if possible. The PCV value ill try to, my fear is the cover is cracked.

    PCV and Oil Pan Leak

I'm having a serious oil leak. This AM, noticed a spot on the ground the size of a basketball. Trac was a full quart low. I traced 2 possibly 3 leaks, but the PVC valve is leaking for sure. Was changed about a year ago by a deal but hasn't leaked until late. Then, from what I can tell is...

    A/C Compressor not engaging

It's been a few weeks. Usually use it to defrost. So I engaged it this am and it turned on very quickly and off just as fast. Probably a leak in the system.

    A/C Compressor not engaging

I'm having an issue with the A/C Compressor. I went to defrost it today and I began to get a metallic burning order. So I pulled over a noticed the compressor was not turning. I turned on the A/C and still nothing. The clutch does spin when using your hand. When I engaged A/C the air did...

Speed Control Issue - Dash Light Blinks Quickly

Hmmm, I'm wondering if this could be related. I'll have to dig into this further tonight. Thanks for the feedback Richard L.

Speed Control Issue - Dash Light Blinks Quickly

Quick question, an intermittent issue has turned into a failure. When I try to engage speed control, the dash light blinks for a quick moment and turns off. I'm thinking the sensor has failed. If so, what is the part number for a replacement switch/sensor and how tough a job is it? 2003 Trac...

Engine rattle under load or from stop light

A bit of an update: I ran a bottle of Seafoam in and the noise somewhat went away. I can still hear is ever so slightly say merging onto a freeway where I'm between 2 concrete walls. Its noise free but then you will a ping ping, then nothing. Had to do this 3 times for it to act up...
