Yellow wrench dash light

I had the battery go dead on me.

After jumping the truck I found the yellow wrench light on. I have never seen this light before.

How does one clear it?

Powertrain malfunction indicator:



Illuminates when a powertrain or a 4x4 fault has been detected.

Call around, most larger auto parts stores will loan a OBD2 scanner or check for diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) as a free service. Write down the NUMBERS and post them here.

I had a mechanic clear the codes. I did have cam codes but that was because I forgot to plug in the wires after a fan swap. But the wrench light was already on.

all clear now. Will see if it comes back.
