This is the part number you need 5L2Z-7855100-AAA
The ones that were sold would not fit, gen 1 versus gen 2.
Do a search and you will find them.

I think you are correct, the first link may be for the 07, only the fist 4 are different but I agree with swshawaii, get the part number from the dealer, pop it into amazon and see what hits you get.

those 2 cross bars wont work on the Gen 1 Sport Trac.. they slide in a grove on the inside of the rails.. .
you need to get ones that look like this..
not sure about what the Gen 2 uses.

According to his profile his is a Gen 2 2008.
