I have mirror off a 2000 Explorer with the curtosey (sp? light on the bottom. Will that work?

Not bad but still dont know if it will fit the ST.

Well, I'm almost positive it will, but it will have a light on the bottom that won't be used.



I can pop the cover on my '03 ST to make sure the bolt pattern is the same, I believe it looks exactly like my mirror fromt he outside with the exception of the light.

This is off a 2000 Explorer that I bought a rear hatch to replace the one on my daughter's 2000 Explorer that she got rear ended in. I got the drivers door as well for the painted to match handle that I put on her passenger door to replace the busted one. I stripped the door lock motor (tailgate lock project :banana: ) and window motor as well as the switches, latch and wiring harness (window was broke, door smashed). As near as I can tell, the mirror base where it goes on the truck is different than my '03 as you can see in the 2nd pic. It should fit fine I'd think. There's some tape residue discoloration that you can see in the 2nd and 2nd to last pic. This shows up a lot more in these photos than it does in real life, sorta like rust always shows up worse in pice than it does on the part. I didn't try to clean it, I only wiped the dust off with a rag. I also folded it to show that still works.
