When I was about 5(35 yrs ago) we had 1 or 2 inches down by Houston. All the locals stayed home and if I remember right they didn't have school that day. Then we moved back to ILL and in the mid 70s I think we got an avg of 2 feet every year. I'm sure that the people north of ILL are thinking, 2 feet that's nothing. It's all in what you are used to.

Sounds like we may get some snow here in the San Francisco bay area in the next couple of days too! below 1000 ft.



Mount Diablo and Mt. Tamapias (Mt. Tam ) often will get snow at the peaks.



But this sounds like we may get some.. on Hwy 29 and others in the area...
