worth it?

I did it for $10, just requires some "engineering". I used a generic lock actuator which came with everything I needed, I just had to make it work is all.
 
:Dhmmmm ok , understood, will have to check out the project section. i want to thank mysporttrac.com as we are all look out for eachother. does anyone have an idea of what years and what cars i can get this from? (acuator)
 
The link below is the one that I bought, even from the same seller. It was a little large, but I was able to make it work.
 
IMO, $65 is not bad for self install. Dont have to worry with fabriction and collecting parts. Thats just me. If $$ is tight. Go the cheaper route. Those on here that DIY fab work seemed to be easy.
 
I think it's definitely worth it.

I'll have to look to see how hard it is to hook up to the power lock function in the project section, but I plan to get one.

I've most certainly spent more $$ on things that weren't near as useful. :unsure:
