Windshield wiper problem

Seems my windshield wipers have developed a mind of their own. Sometimes you turn them on, and nothing, at any setting. You might wait 5 minutes and turn them on and they work fine. I'm guessing here that it's that monster switch for the dimmer, turn signal, wipers and most everything else. Question. How hard is it to replace the switch? I'm sure getting to it is the hard part. If anyone has the part number, that would be helpful.

I had the same problem on my 2001. I replaced the wiper motor and all was well.

Thanks. Since they work most of the time, I would never suspected that it was the wiper motor. Just assumed it would be in the switch.
