I never felt more patriotic than the day the 9/11 Commission told the American people what most of us already knew: There was NO Al-Queda relationship at all with Saddam Hussien.
I can honestly relate to that letter. I never felt so proud to be an American or military person till one day back in 2004. I was in Iraq with one of our interpreters and he was telling me what life was like under Saddam's rule. He stopped talking after a bit and we both sat there for a moment in silence and then he just said thank you for rescuing him and his family. The only thing I could honestly say was your welcome. That what friends are for. Cause believe it or not, he did save my life countless times.
