On the way home from hockey yesterday I had to snap a picture of this guy in front of me. He had a 12 foot box through the cabin of the car and about three feet sticking out each side. Gotta love watching people bring home stuff from the home improvement stores. :)

I spent a good 20 minutes watching a guy tie cargo to his roof by passing the twine through the open windows with his son's help. After all was secure he realized he couldn't open his door to get in.

I called the police the other day as a guy with a 20+ft ladder was on his pickup and he was parked near the end of his driveway. The ladder was sticking 5ft into the road and he had no red rag or anything to notice it. This was in an old neighborhood and the streets are narrow.

I had to tell my wife to watch the ladder, she saw it before I did.

I gave the exact location to the police and he couldn't find it. So, I drove back and it was still in the road. Police officer called and said he finally found it because he almost ran into it...LOL

My favorite is the long board, pvc pipe, or rain gutter, you name it, maybe 10 or 15 feet long.

I've seen this one several times. Joe and Jane Clueless pop open lift gate or window of the SUV and then set the long thing atop the seats and then place the end on the dash. Typically the wife holds the board or pipe with all her might, assuming that if her husband stops fast in or has a crash she can hold back that javelin so that it won’t go through the windshield and pierce the car in front of them. I’ve heard of a few windshields getting demolished this way.

I often wonder..."Why don't you just fasten that long beast to the roof rack...that is the kind of thing that's there for, no?"

he he he,

Tom, as to your question, some of the 'roof racks' are not there for anythig but looks. We have a PT Cruiser and in the book it says in big bold letters. " DO NOT USE ROOF RACK TO CARRY CARGO",

can you believe that shit.

Glad I have a 1- ton work van and a 3/4 ton truck,

I work in the lumber yard at Lowe's. It is a drive through lumber yard and there are some stupid people who put all kinds of crazy crap in, around and through their cars. Never ceases to amaze me.

People walking 5 points

bike riders 15 points

motor bike riders 50 points, they are harder to catch up to with out leaving the ground.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

it doesn't matter if you get them on the right or the left side of the car.
