water temp. sensor

what is the best way to check the water temp.unit? what is the best way to change it?

problem: dash gauge is not working. fuse?:huh::huh:

Unplug it, Then turn on the ignition have some one sit in the truck and using a paper clip touch the 2 pins in the plug together real fast and if the Gage pins to hot the wiring and Gage is fine....
