Well, I got the wobbly Generals replaced with Michellin LTX MS2's and paid the $104 difference. That's a total of nearly $860. Ouch. These don't look nearly as good as the Goodyear Fortera Silent Armors, nor as quiet, but at least they're not vibrating like the Generals did. Too soon to to say anything else though.
And another thing, in their final attempt to balance the Generals, the shop annoyingly applied weights on my chrome wheels. Yes, on the outside of the wheel, right on the chrome. They were removed and I'm relieved my wheels remain undamaged.
