V8 badge for the gen2

I remember some previous posts discussing the gen2 trac's not sporting the V8 emblem. Just purchased one for my '09 that fits perfectly to the 4x4 emblem 1 1/8" height on the tailgate. Anyone interested: www.americanmuscle.com/mustang-v8-emblem.html

Yes, it's said to be for a mustang, but hell, its my first V8.

Mine has V-8 emblems on the front fenders and I bought a stock one from FORD for the rear tailgate next to the 4X4.

I guess the '09 is the only model that doesn't have the V8 badge.

I think that someone on here with a 2008 V8 said they didn't have the badge either. I think that it came standard on the 2007 V8's, but became hit-and-miss from 2008-2010.

that reminds me of the day i noticed the dohc emblems on my 96 taurus were not put on correctly. they were not even to the flow on the fender. looked at others and almost all were not even. :angry:
