Yesterday I received my new oil free AirAid SynthaMax air filter for the CAI. I removed the old oiled one which was falling apart, and needed to be replaced anyway. I like not having to be concerned with whether I am properly re-oiling a filter.
Those that are interested, AirAid also makes a SynthaMax Drop-In air filter too.
The part no. for the SynthaMax CAI replacement filter is 721-440. I bought mine through 4 Wheel Parts and cost $51 + tax which came to $56 total.
