    This video shows/explains how a rear diff works, it's old, but I found it very informative. The tutorial part doesn't start until about 1:50 in, so either skip to it or watch the old school motorcycle stunts.

    That was pretty cool. Thanks for posting.



    Too bad that most people today wouldn't know why anyone would care about a rear differential, nor why power should go to the rear wheels ( :( ). They'd see the part about the wagon where the independent rear wheels were just dragged along for the ride, and stop there :(

    Great video. After watching it, I am not as afraid of the differential as I was before. Great engineering. Thanks for posting.
