Under hood switched power source?

Need to connect auxiliary lighting to under hood power source that switches on/off with ignition. Anybody know of a good location? I want to avoid running a wire through the firewall.

2010 STA 4.6L.

What I did was. Pulled relalys until I found one that energized 12vdc with key on. I made a jumper wire with a flat blade on the end. Plugged it into the hot spot. Then pluged the relay in. If you are going to pull much current. You need to use the new wire for a new relay trigger.

I didnt' need to as I, was using it for an Led strip under my headlights. They pull maybe .05amps.

Thanks Eddie, I didn't think of that. The tap will be for LED lighting.
