uncomfortable drivers seat

I just purchased a 2008 sport trac with manual seats. So far I have not been able to find a comfortable position and I am considering installing 6 way power seats. Has anyone ever completed this modification and know of any problems. Is the wiring in place so I can just plug in or am I going to have wiring problems? Thanks got any and all help.

Can't vouch for a Gen 2, but I put the seat sin my 2002, power leathers. The wiring was not there, so I had to run wires to the fuse panel. they did bolt in, though....

Yep! When I bought my '04. The first one I sat in was an xls standard seat. Couldnt get comfortable. So I didnt; drive it....Bought the xlt prm.
