Turn Signal

When I turned on my left turn signals my front would blink fast and my rear would do nothing. My right side works fine. I found that when my tilt was all the way down or tilted this problem occurs but when the tilt is all the way up the turn signals work fine. I have not pulled the steering wheel or the covers off the column to figure out which wires are shorting out yet. Has anyone heard of this? I have a 02 Trac.

Common problem your wire harness is stretching or something along those lines. A search should reveal how to alleviate the problem.
