TSB for Altenator?

Where can i read this TSB on the altenator problem......and does anyone have the part number they replaced it with......thanks for all your help People!!!!!!!

I was told that my whining noise in the engine compartment is due to the altenator....they said that they have replaced it with an explorer 4 door altenator and problem solved....they found this out from a TSB. My year is 01, 67k mileage......thanks tracnblack

They will replace your alternator with the same year of the 4 door Explorer. It is a higher amperage output alternator.



If you have the power steering pump issue they will replace it with the 4 door Explorer Power Steering ump as it is a higher pressure and flow pump.



I had both done as I live in a cold environment.



If your warm weather, you'll not likely have a clue about these issues. Seems to be a cold weather issue only..
