What about the Cats that greeted the troops home!

Great videos, thanks for posting Gerry Mac!

Now for a joke,

You lock your dog and your wife in the trunk of the car,

Drive around town for a couple of hours...

Who's gonna be happy to see you?

My parents just got back from Dallas they said there was quite a few GI's returning home for the holidays. The plane gave them a standing ovation. Well deserved.

I remember hearing a story about a group of soldiers coming home for Christmas a couple of years ago. Everyone on the plane, even the ones in first class, waited to let them get off the plane before anybody else.

It is amazing that animals can form a bond to humans. I know humans say they "love their pets", but this is proof that pets do feel love and do love their humans.

When my Mom would fly to Germany to visit her Mother for 6 weeks, upon her return our family dog would cry like a baby, and I mean cry, when my Mom would walk into the door. When I say cry, I mean it was a cry like no other. Once she was held and loved, the dog would stop crying.
