trip odometer.

I am unable to reset the trip odometer. When i first got the vehicle i could press and hold the odometer stick and it would clear but now it wont. Is there any tricks or is this a common ST problem?

I have to hold mine down about 6 seconds on my '04..

It has to be showing the trip before you hold and reset....Not the total odo

How would you alternate back n forth between these displays? The push pin does nothing to change any display for the readings.



Could this have anything to do with a oil change or anything changed during maintenance at a dealership other than Ford?

Sounds like the actual switch may be defective and or stuck and not coming back out to allow you to push it in to change screens.



Not just the push-pin, but the switch itself...
